Blind vs Blind on Monotone Flop Blind vs Blind on Monotone Flop

Villain in the BB is unknown but the last orbit I raised his BB from my SB with KTo for the same preflop size and he bet big on a wet ace high flop when I elected not to cbet. So this was the very next set of blinds for us. Curious about the turn and river decisions. I'm never folding the river but I wonder if it's better to just push the rest of my stack or check. As for the turn the pot was over 5k and I had about 8.8k left in my stack. I contemplated the overbet shove. Not sure if it would have been good or not.

When you bet the turn you left yourself 12bbs behind but made a 30bb pot going into the river. You have to either check or shove the turn. As played, if you check the river at this point you're getting almost 3.5:1 on your money if V shoves and thats a really tough spot you put yourself in.

If I'm betting that turn it's for all the marbles. If I check it, I'm leaving myself with 21+bbs and can easily get away from the hand if I don't feel good about the river card or have a good read on V.

Is the idea behind the river check to induce a (bluff) bet from V?

I'm fairly certain I have the best hand on the turn and river so I didn't interpret it as a tough spot. I wanted to get the money in on the river I just wasn't sure if checking or putting the rest in was the better line. Or as offered overbet jamming the turn.

Basically. I want to get the money in on the river and felt confident I had the best hand. Just not sure which line accomplishes that. Looking back on it if he had a big spade or some type of combo draw he probably would have put in a raise on the flop or jammed the turn. I guess I don't know if there's any chance the BB will jam the river turning any non flush hands into a bluff versus taking his showdown value. I bet 1/2 pot on the flop, 3/4 on the turn and then shut down when the fourth spade hits the river. So yeah, do we ever induce with the check?

That is really hard to say against unknown. I would make a really small bet (around 20%-30%) OTR. This looks kind of weak/ scared on the river - so he might think he can bluff you off the hand with a shove. Additionally it gives him the possibility to call with weaker hands as he gets cheap showdown.

But let me add, that I am not convinced you have the best hand OTR.
