it's mostly just a clickback once he 4bets. If he does 6b you need to consider your own image and his but if no reads you can always use a randomizer to stay balanced.
Even without the spoil (which you should avoid in your posts here) I knew he had qq or kk. I like your 3b ... would make it smaller 5.5 bb gets the job done and keeps the pot smaller in case you all wanna do some more button clicking. I'd probably be done after his 4b... with A5s you can 5b but <100bb it's really pricey. A5o doesn't have much equity versus anything.
Click back is interesting but couldn't he just...call? 4b size did a pretty good job of leveraging which demonstrates the benefits of small 4bs this deep.
Is 3b better than flat with this hand? I often simply expand my flatting range and basically play BB for him but not today.
You really levelled yourself here, best to avoid too much of this at these stakes without history. 3b is good but just fold to 4b esp when we are readless
Am I the only one who thinks this is a troll thread?
If BB sits out we just want to expand our flat call range as playing big pots with crappy hands such as A5o seems like a recipe for disaster. I'd personally always favor playability in these spots if I were to 3bet and A5o is going to make for really awkward post-flop play.
Only person trolled was me by the RNG. When we talk about the run good/bad that make or break tourney runs we overlook these spots. If that guy went on to win I bet he doesn't recall getting dealt QQ on the btn with BB perma-sittingout with a spewtard in the sb as one of his lucky moments.
Thanks for the suggested adjustment. Although A5o is shyt, it's less shyt than most other offsuit Ax v a strong range, yet not good enough to flat the tiny 4b (definetly not going anywhere with ATo+ in game). Probably one the few air combos I'd have 3b/5b
Flat pre looks good here. If you are in the mood to deny some equity for villain then I think we should be exploitably folding vs 4bets from unknowns at these stakes and 5betting a narrow linear range.
