Bad shove? Bad shove?

$5.50 MTT on partypoker, in the money with approx. 20 players left

MP: 16.07 BB
CO: 32.84 BB
BTN: 38.21 BB
SB: 11.16 BB
Hero (BB): 8.78 BB
UTG: 11.51 BB
UTG+1: 14.13 BB

7 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.37 BB) Hero has 7 K

fold, fold, fold, CO raises to 2.1 BB, BTN calls 2.1 BB, fold, Hero raises to 8.66 BB, fold, BTN calls 6.56 BB

Flop: (20.79 BB, 2 players) 4 J T

Turn: (20.79 BB, 2 players) 6

River: (20.79 BB, 2 players) 8

BTN shows Q K (Flush, King High)
(Pre 71%, Flop 93%, Turn 100%)
Hero mucks 7 K (High Card, King)
(Pre 29%, Flop 7%, Turn 0%)
BTN wins 20.79 BB

Vs the CO open I think a shove is very profitable but I'm not sure what to when the BTN calls, does that make it a fold?
I don't know if I'm just being results orientated and his calling range is still weak enough to warrant a shove. Or if he's calling 2.1bb then he's gonna call 8.6bb with his entire range there?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts

I think BTN will be calling majority of range in that situation as they have already committed to pot knowing there are short stacks behind who are probably likely to shove. I think it's a fold.

Not even sure it’s a good jam vs one player but once the OR gets a caller you have to fold a much better hand than the one you went with. Both ranges are chock full of cards than dominate to hell out of K7
