BB stats 50:14/61 91 hands

I was looking for utg to go crasy with something and decided to call but when bb acted out i thought it was a good time to get value from a qx hand or some low pocket that he was too stuborn to fold.

Looking back at it I think i should just have called him down but perhaps this is a good spot to get value from something like a queen with a bad kicker? It just seemed like he would call me light in that spot.

I doubt that his flop min-check-raise OOP vs 2 opponents indicates anything but him having a pure value on a board as desert-dry as this.

He has a large stack and can easily afford calling with those hands in that position.

It would've been a bad play even if you had AQ.

PRE---Not a big fan of flatting KQs on the BTN against an UTG open. 3 bet or fold. (I'm almost never folding here though, so I say 3 bet this)

IMO-this is what you to failed to recognize.

I don't mind flatting KQs OTB when BB is also pretty deep. I don't think it's a good hand to use to 3bet/fold. I'd much prefer the offsuit version to use in my 3bet semi-bluffing range.

I think it's an easy fold after the BB c/minraise + UTG bet/call on the Q72r flop. What are you really hoping for? That BB is bluffing with a c/minraise into two people (one of which opened UTG and bet into two people) after it goes bet-call on such a dry board, and that UTG is holding on with JJ or QJs (some people don't even open the latter from UTG on a 20x stack). You are almost never getting called by worse when you take this line and you are almost never getting better to fold, so I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish with your raise? There is literally nothing to protect against, so raising for protection is not even an issue. I think it's just button clicking and pretty bad spew - especially 3bet/calling a shove on the flop for 40x+ after all that action.
