if his value range is that polarized, JJ (esp with the Jh) blocks every reasonable bluff combo while AT does not. AT rather blocks some value combos that villain checkraises with. from a hand strength perspective those hands are pretty much the same but vils most likely (polarized) checkraising range has a lot less bluffs if we have two jacks in our hand.

Thanks all for your replies.

Results:

I ended up calling the turn shove and bricked river. He showed JJ and scoped. I had him on a capped range so this sort of suprised me, but I have seen alot more ppl lately play JJ in a more passive fashion.

In hindsight, I think a folding the turn is proly best as we are so priced out, we have to show up with the best so often to turn a profit and worse hands may check turn. Also if he is on a big draw we lose river some %. As other posters mentioned, he could do this because he has a strong hand and is afraid of the draw.
