Still early in the tournament but I want to discuss a spot like this. UTG raised and 4 people call. I really don't like this spot. Calling seems terrible. I choose to raise big but then I get 3 callers. Pot gets huge.

Is this the correct play at this time? I don't matter the way the hand plays out but would like some opinions on the spot itself. If we miss the flop 4-way I guess the hand is over?

Preflop is good, AQo is a good squeezing hand for value, we are ahead of ranges and they will probably flat dominated hands if we do get flatted. It also isn't a huge disaster if UTG 4bets us and we have to fold with AQo.

On the flop either bet smaller or shove. Betting 60% of your stack is odd sizing. This is probably a flop where we want to bet on the smaller side with the plan to get it in and jam most turns if called.

I like iso but perhaps a little less (about 2800-3000). I think it has the same effect and perhaps we don't want to create a monster pot but AQo , but a little more manageable....althought not so much difference at the end

As played : when he calls i put him in JJ-99 or some weird played AKs or even AJs? (we know nothing about villain). So yeah , we bet half the pot thinking we are ahead thinking of jamming the turn but he shoves , ok...

...as we are comitted already i think i call. We know nothing of this guy so he can show any weird thing at the end. I try not to be result orientanted here
