Hundredaire maker on Ignition
100/200 pre ante
Hero on Button with AJo
HJ (18/9/20) open ships 15bb
Hero has 16bb.
Is this an easy call? (I folded)
I dont have Icmizer unfortunately

Also, is there a better way for me to post these hands instead of creating a new thread every time? Im fairly new to 2p2....and still looking for easier way to convert ignition hands. Doing it manually now and that is time consuming

1) google for ignition converter.
2) install HRC and load the hand history into after each session. It will show you -Ev decisions and after some practicing you will be super-confident with push/fold decisions.
3) start 2) with the hand you posted in this thread.

As to your hand, AJo is a coin flip here I think. If you call then expect to see AT, AJ, Axs, and small pairs 99 and down. I think TT and higher would rather get a call thus not jam pre flop from the button. AKs and AQs probably don't open shove either. So the question is do you feel like racing on a coin flip?

Your pot odds are 1.1:1. Your break even equity is 47%. In MTTs, you don't want to call off at the break even point, you want some edge set into your calls. So, I would call here with about 51%+ equity against his range.

First, let's start with the range he is supposed to shove from the HJ with 15BBs. He is supposed top have 14.1% of hands: 44+, A8s+, A5s, AJ, K9s+, KQ, Q9s+, J9s+, and T9s.

Against that range, AJo has only 47% equity.

Now when you consider that when he deviates from the range, having tight stats, his deviations would be toward the tighter range, makes this a fold.

Thanks so much guys. I analyzed hand with equilab and figured it was flip situation too. Im happy with a fold here. I try to stay away from break even spots because i can find better spots. Unless im up against someone who I feel has a huge edge over me, Fedor Holz for example, Id take this spot all day lol.

Yes, HoldemResourceCalculator. I am not affiliated with developers/sales team. It's just the software that helped me a lot to get solid understanding of push/fold situations, it's really helpful.

HRC is a great tool, but you need to be able to adjust shoving ranges and not adjust your strategy according to the preset (nash) ranges.

This is a profitable shove against most players. You can take away the top of their range TT+, AK, AQs (Some people will shove every combo of AK, and mr TT+). Pre ante it's obv generally a tighter range, and less dead money to win.

I don't mind a fold pre ante, but post ante it should be a get in against most players.
