This is late in the first hour of the tourney. The villain's stats are 42/25/13, so very active.

Pre-flop I am happy with my price to call and see a flop versus a wide range open from the villain in the cutoff

On the flop, my hand connects with the board in a way where I elect to float – backdoor straight and two overcards

On the turn, I donk lead because I binked and I think I am best a lot

On the river, I decide to choose a value sized bet and see what happens... My hand obviously is not that good versus the range villain is representing, but it feels like villain is polarized and therefore will have bluffs. How often should I call or how should I think about whether I should call? Thanks.

I think the lead on the turn makes this difficult to play - I would rather x/c turn and river vs active V
dunno abt the river - don't think we can call 1pair much here

I agree with oldgoat here, I don't think turn lead makes much sense here. Although u have a pair, it's a card that should be better for his range. Letting villain bluff into you when you have him beat also allows you to lose minimum when he has you beat, when oop generally

x/c turn and x/c river vs a player with these stats and read is best imo

We can raise flop here. We have bdfd + bdsd + 2overs + it's not a very good board for ip range. Floating is certainly not bad either.
As played ott i wouldn't donk out. I think this could be a fine c/r as well, since there is only a tiny part of villains double barrel range that beat us and the board is quite wet.
As played make a bigger bet otr. With such a small sizing you probably induce a ton of bluffs and then folding becomes terrible. If opponent is capable of bluffing you might just check/call river, but against most opponents a lead here should be fine.

It's a mistake to donk that turn as it's a great turn for him to bluff at, and he'll have more bluffs here than worse value hands that check back. On the river I'd call - he reps little to nothing and you look like you're trying to get to showdown with 9x/7x.
