i am in bb 2,000 blind plus 2,000 anti
old guy in like 6th position raises to 6,000 its folded to me
i have like 24,000 left.
Here the thing the guy has been limping some and this time he raise, so my read was he is raising with strong hands, if had a weaker hand he would limp.
but i didn't want to just fold 9s in the bb to a 3x open. so i ended up jaming and he had queens and i went broke.
so obvious vs a more conventional player i would be fine with my play, i have 12 bbs left i have 9s vs one raiser why not go for it. but in this particular type of old guy, i don't think i am doing that well vs his range. i think he is limping like aj, a-10 maybe a-q. i think this is like 10s plus.
anyway what do you guys think about a spot like this?
