if it stinks a monster, then set mining does not make sense at all:
12% of the time we hit the set, but in 88% of the time we most likely fold to c-bet and lose ~20% of our stack. from those 12% of times we sometimes stack off V and sometimes win. This is super marginal, but you guys keep playing like that, that's good for the rest of us :-)

I would go tighter than this maybe even QQ+ - I know this is exploitable but many players will be shoving hands as strong as AK here rather than 3 bet small as it gets hard to play oop with this kind of SPR - I'd prob call AK ip

course it changes against aggro V or if there are dynamics

Well I agree that calling the 3b is marginal but we are only risking 10% of our stack on the call because the rest is in already. Like I said it's w/e.

Your air of superiority grates a bit.

That's a charitable way of saying it.

FWIW I am looking at this situation in a much more simplistic manner. Here I need to spend about 2.5BB's of my 22BB stack to try and make a big hand vs someone who is 3-betting and OOP. His raise size indicates that he is looking to get called so he is obviously strong so I'm going to assume that there's a good chance he's willing to play for his stack. If I hit a 7 on the flop then I'm going to slow play it and expect to win his whole stack and if I miss then I fold to any bet and move on.
