Not a big fan of calling pre even though table seems incredibly loose passive. As played check back river. No need to turn this into a bluff, I know it's 10 hands but V running 60/10 is pretty telling. Think he's calling all bluff catchers.

I would fold pre.
It's understandable that u want to spew some part of your gigantic stack while you can, but at least do it with playable hands...75s is OK, 74s is meh. IMHO.

So I normally fold 74s but every once in a while I get a little froggy and like to jump in and see what happens. With my stack and position it was a must for me to play here. The turn gave me outs as I'm pretty sure I was way behind a pair of TT or better. The Jd on the river was a great bluff card because at this point I was fairly positive he was scared of the flush and so I bet the river and he folds.

That's recreational way to play poker..if it's ok with you, that's fine...but if you want to progress I would really, really recommend to work on avoiding jumping in when you "just want to see what happens".
Just step back, watch this feeling from distance and let it go :-)

But when my VP is around 14 and PFR are around 11 don't you think I can use this tight image to exploit weaker players? Maybe a better play here would have been to 3bet pre?

It's not God awful to flat here in cutoff, it just isn't preferred. Definitely an argument to be made with a nit behind us and two stations in the blinds. Odds are we're going multi-way with position against some fairly weak players. Based on opponent stats I'm not real interested in 3b

I think you should 3bet this specific hand if you want to play it. If not obviosuly folding is standard.

As played, I think I would size up a little bigger on the river.

I was coming in just to post this. If we're going to get naughty with the 74s pre, we should probably 3bet it. In saying that there are much better hands to be 3betting as the dusty end of a polarised 3bet strat.

AP, river has gotta be close between a bet and a check, but if we're going to bet it definitely a bit bigger.

yeah, 3-bet this. Spewing is fun, isn't it.
