The initial shover has a bounty worth cca 33% of the buy in so nothing too crazy. Is it better to push here, or do we just call and maybe even fold if anyone who covers us decides to move in?

i'm re-shoving for sure, in bounty games you want to force other players to fold so you can have more pot equity for yourself unless you have AA or KK of course... You don't want one of the remaining players, especially those that cover you to re-shove with hands like AT or KJ that have a lot of equity against you

But is it +EV to shove 42bb here at risk into getting called by higher pair by one of the stacks that cover you? And it is is +EV where is the cutting point, for example what do we do in this spot w77?

Yeah, shove and isolate! Fold is to nitty, call and let somebody behind you spew and force you off your equity is definately not an option.

I am not supprised to see a 60BB stack behind you still call with any pair, broadways, A9. You see the craziest stuff in these fields.

PKOs are a different breed of tournament than non-pko

Firstly this means you need to try to get other players out of the pot by re-shoving yourself, unless you have a big pair then by all means just flat. It is "risky" to open yourself to getting called by a bigger pair for a big chunk of chips but what is more important is that re-shoving is regardless a profitable play

If you just called you wont be folding too often anyway so its not like you are risking unnecessarily by re-shoving.

And by just flatting you let someone in with hands like ATo, KQs etc which you really want out of the pot because they have a lot of equity against you, though as above pointed out these hands can see end up calling but that just the nature of the beast in PKOs

88 and 77 i probably go with but 66 i would fold because the over-calling ranges of the rest of the players will be too wide and with 66 the risk of getting over called and busting is now too high IMO

I must be an idiot because I fold there. With no read thats AA KK or QQ in my mind. I'd be happy if someone explained I was wrong to fold.

It really depends on the player but readless theres no evidence villian is only shoving AA KK or QQ here, just because its a 15BB jam. I'd expect to see AK or AQ here a lot more then big pairs.
