Hi all,
I might be just a total n00b but in the following hand ($33 BB) I decided to call a 3-bet with KJs. My reasoning was:
* Always folding to a 3-bet with such a hand is probably exploitable (and I need to mix it up)
* We were deep enough (50 BB)
* I would have position postflop
At the turn I assumed when he bets again I'm behind his range, and I don't have enough stack left to push and get enough Fold Equity of better hands. So maybe my assumption 50BB is deep enough was wrong, and I should just keep folding this preflop.
All in all (not all-in) it feels I completely misplayed the hand, hitting top pair and folding, loosing ~15BB in the process
I had no specific reads on the BB at this point, we were at the same table shortly. I should add this was in a very late stadium of the tournament (5 hours into it, 1000/2000 blinds) which changes play a bit. There were more 3-bets and more aggressive play than at the start of the tournament.
