Just call and play a flop in position

investing 25% of the stack to 3-bet with the marginal hand in SB vs BB pot, betting 30% of the remaining stack with ace-high on the flop.
why don't we just shove on the preflop instead if we really don't want to give up this pot. at least we have some FE and blocker.
