$20 live mtt. we have 74000 and blinds are 4000/8000. folds around to us in the SB and we have 98o. BB has us covered by 20000 and has called our 13BB button shove in the dark before doubling us up. (in the dark meaning didn't look at her cards and she had 93o).

is this always a shove here? its breakeven against a random hand.

top 4 pay but i don't give a **** about finshing 4th 3rd or 2nd. I want the win. biggest stack has close if not over 200,000. we are 4th in chips out of 7 players.

it is close, depends a bit on everyone eases stack sizes too. if you think BB is going to call with more than half their hands id probably just fold, or even try a limp

Snapshove says with 9 blinds and a 12.5% ante to shove the following range...

So around 71%

If she's calling uber wide we can trim off some of the bottom of the range tho cause we don't wanna jam 45s and have the person call 63o blind lol.

we're at a FT tho so we don't have to shove nash ranges...

also it's a live $20 so it doesn't sound like there is any anti

Well yeah you can just input it for no antes and trim off some of the range then to account for ICM.

You don't give stacks or payouts, but I guess it doesn't matter much if you're playing for 1st only. Even then 98o is pretty close to breakeven against ATC calling range.
