77 runners about 40 something left both hands

Hand 1 AQo UTG+2. (11500, basically starting stack)

300/600/75 ante

9 handed

V1 limps UTG(15k) — on the loose passive side, but very trappy from early position
V2 limps UTG+1(15k) — loose passive, but less trappy
I? There are 3 big stacks (over 30k) calling too wide IMO, one of which is button, one small blind, one in the hijack. Have not seen any of these players 3! yet.

Hand 2 33 CO. (8300)

400/800/100

V2 from hand 1 open limps HJ. I?

Button (15k)— haven’t seen him play a hand since I moved last level

Both blinds (35-40k) — limpy, but call a lot of raises

Two easy Shoves imo.

Hand1: You have a 19BB Stack with two limps in front of you. Impossible to raise/fold AQ there imo. Not a big fan of raising AQo after two limps with 19BB as well. So i would just get it in pre. If trappy UTG really has KK or AA/AK/QQ (which you block obv) then it is how it is.

Hand2:
You have 10BB. You would shove 33 from CO if its folded to you right? This HJ Limp does not change a lot there. Get it in pre and see a lot of folds from HJ in a 60 buy in live tourney.

Results:

I make it 2k. Looking to go with any good flop folds to small blind who wants to see my stack then throws out a stack of 1k chips without even considering the other 2 players. UTG and UTG+1 fold quickly I say I’ll wait and fold sb shows Ak. UTG claims to have aq.

The 33 hand I shoved. Button looks at his cards, fumbles with chips, and eventually calls. I’ll be honest wasn’t too confident it was a race but he shows KQ suited (shocked I expected aq minimum) I hit the 3 in the door and double up.

The AQ was a goofy spot.

If I was on a different spot on the table I could shove, especially small or big blind.

Shoving would be my default, but it was a weird spot on the table given the action. I thought there was no way I was taking it down preflop without shoving.

The small raise seemed like the best option and hope for a good flop

Why didn't you shove then?

Seems pretty bad to go out with aqo and 19bb from early position when the average is like 25 bb.

Only 600 dead money (decent chance UTG had something), would you still shove if no one limped?

Not getting ace jack calls ever, maybe some races.

How deep of a stack do you just raise then instead of shove?
