Pretty standard spot, that's why I post it in SMTT, but I'd still like some opinions.

CO is somewhat nitty and straightforward, nothing out of the ordinary. I've only seen him go to showdown w strong hands. I've tagged BB as an aggro fish but I don't think we have much history.

What's your plan for this Flop and different runouts? I have no Bounties on me fwiw

Most of any analysis that can be made here is with payouts and bounties of all players.

Without that piece of information, any advice can be wrong.

I'd opt to check not sure what I'm doing on different runouts tho exactly. This seems like a nice time to protect our check range when we're sandwiched with an overpair in a spot like this since I'm not thrilled getting raised.

I think its a good board to check /call generally but given ICM situation even more so - tempting for "aggro fish" to bluff at us.

While I agree with you to a certain extent, I don't think those informations should influence our decisions that drastically in this hand. We only cover 2 other stacks (which didn't have huge bounties iirc) and payouts are pretty standard/rather topheavy.


That's also my instinct in spots like this, more often than not I find myself in these spots:

Turn: 5 (31k, 3)
BB checks, Hero bets 17k, CO calls 17k, BB folds
River: 4 (64k, 2)

I think we can mix b/f and c/evaluate with non Kd combos and bet Kd combos at a higher frequency but he's straight forward. I'd expect CO to prob raise some Qx hands on the turn after flop checks through as well.

I will check. I am happy to call small bets vs CO. If he checks, small bet OTT (other than A). Ugly spot, because no one will pay with weaker hand two bets. Only the aggro fish, but this is a small part from his range. Very small...Passive and nitty (fold vs big bets), that's it. Imo...

As played, OTR check or small bet-fold. I don't think he will waste his chips for such an obv bluff (he will bet OTF with Qx+ in a bounty tournament, "straightforward" you said). Imo...Ony 55 , but I think he will have exactly this if he bet (shove) or raise (shove) here.

seems like bet about 1/3 pot fold on the river - given read as sf V they will have quite a few lower PPs - it's playing our hand a bit face up but I doubt sf player is going to suddenly start bluff raising on the FT

Sometimes I really wish we had someone on this forum with pioSolver to run some of these C-bet spots for us, but unfortunately...

I do have a handful of solved spots and QQ7ss on BTN vs BB is one of them. Obviously it won’t be a perfect comparison for this hand. And maybe it’s not even worth looking at but I thought I’d share...
