Backstory: player A starts a winner take all last longer pool. None seem interested so in order to push the action, he says, "If ten players join the pool, I'll add a 5 chip bonus to the pool." So then a few people join the pool. Then a couple more until 8 are in. He says, "If we reach 10 players in the pool, I'll make it a 6 chip bonus to the pool." So I know this is a great deal, but I'm currently on a long term stake; my manager and I have not discussed proper procedure for such instances. I say, "I can't join the pool unless someone stakes me." Player A says, "I'll give you a 50/50 freeroll." I accepted the offer. A few minutes later, the tenth player joined the pool and the tourney started shortly after that. 16 chips to the winner of the pool.
