SB: t1740
BB: t140
UTG: t2350
UTG+1: t1660
UTG+2: t1470
MP1: t1730
MP2: t1470
CO: t1470
Hero (BTN): t1470

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with Q A
UTG raises to t60, 2 folds, MP1 calls t60, 2 folds, Hero calls t60, 1 fold, BB raises to t140 all in, UTG calls t80, MP1 calls t80, Hero ???, 2 folds

This is super early, but UTG raised the hand before and folded to a a big overshove (which is entirely reasonable with lots of things and isn't a true read). Once both players call I am pretty confident I have the best hand and felt that I should raise, but nothing short of a shove seemed to make sense. So, whats your play here and does shoving make sense?

Yeah. Shove is correct. We want to isolate here. Letting them call a standard raise or even PSB is not good.

I like shoving here. I find myself not shoving in these spots enough.

It's an important poker move and can be profitably done with KQ too. Anything where you think you are flipping or better vs. shortie, as the dead money gives us a great overlay.

i guess you're asking whether we call or shove. this is definately a shove

(in a 4/180, lol when you see utg call with J9/Q8/33 type hands)
