Aren't the non-turbo COOPs already sort of like DS MTTs?
Still not a horrible idea (anything better than TCOOP IMO), but I think 2-day Sat/Sun events would be more realistic. Play to the money the first day, play the rest out on Sun.
Mainly, I think they need to replace TCOOP (Terrible COOP) with something that's not a bingo series... and not another MicroMill series, where you can't even take someone out to a fancy lunch or a few rounds of drinks, unless you make the FT out of 5k runners or w/e.

My other complaint about their series is that they should include many more variants (rebuys, PL, NL, 6 max, FR, etc.) of the mixed games.
