I think you're probably underestimating how much better the average reg let alone the top tier regs have gotten over the last 3 years. Pessagno is a pretty good example of a guy who played a similar style to thebattler33 and he's been on a 16k game downswing. His downswing doesn't necessarily mean people have figured out how he plays ,but I think the better regs are making the proper adjustments to his game as they would with thebattler.

mypokerf has long been my favorite MTT reg (no joke). playing with him/watching him play has opened my eyes to a lot. even posted about it 15 months ago or so

no clue if he wins at the cap he open sits all day, but have to imagine he does. dont think he's the best MTT reg, but plays well

Suppose you probably won't want to say, but what about his play has opened your eyes? I've found his bet sizings to be peculiar from most players whenever I've watched him.
