Where to get started transitioning from cash

Hello, I searched the forum for advice threads but have not found any. Please feel free to point me toward a past thread if you know of one.
I am primarily a cash player and am interested in dabbling in MTTs, but don't know what content would be best for preparing me for the lower stakes (maybe around 10$ buy-in). I do not have a super large bankroll, which is why I'm avoiding going for heavy courses and why I'm not super comfortable just playing tournaments and figuring things out as I go, relying on my base cash experience.
Do you guys recommend any free or cheap resources for getting started with MTTs, especially as someone with some poker fundamentals already? Anything from YouTube to free/low cost courses online.
Thank you!

Modern Poker Theory isn't free, but it's very useful for the price of a book.
The single most important things you can study are short stack ranges and proper play, and how ICM will affect your plays and ranges when the pay jumps are notable.
