So when I started playing poker online I was playing on ignition which does not support any form of final table chop and will take your winnings if they learn you made a deal between the players to chop off the table. I am looking for an online site that does not discourage chops in that way. I am a U.S player and every site I contact says they do not allow chops to their tournaments, even though I have read articles of big tournaments that were recently chopped on their sites? Any recommendations ?

Thanks AAlegend. I am in California and cant get poker stars to accept my money. I don't want to use a different IP address and have it cause forfeited earnings in the future. What about black chip poker? I read that some players chopped a tournament online there. Even if the site won t support it I'm hoping to find one that won't revoke someones earnings for making a side deal like they will and have done on ignition

Out of curiosity, why is the ability to chop such a big deal for you?

In most smaller to mid buy in sized tournaments the average stack of the final remaining players is often 10 bb or less. This significantly takes the skill of out playing openents from the equation as the moves become all in or fold pre flop in most instances. It becomes highly reliant upon luck although making it to that point was done through skillfully manuvering through the field. I find it better to take a chop when everyone has a short stack in relation to blinds as I can regularly get to that point regardless of how I run. Once luck becomes the stronger deciding factor my wining percentages definently drop

That being said can you point me in the direction of an online poker room that support chops. I think black chip poker at least will allow players to make side deals and not forfeit their winnings if they do

Playing short stacks is also an acquired skill. Maybe you need to work on your short stack game a bit. It’s a part of tournament play. If you’d rather maintain deeper stacks, why even bother with tournaments? Why not just play cash games?

Bet Online has an option for chops. Everyone has to agree, and I am not sure what kind of chop it is. I have never seen one agreed to before.

I play microstakes but Betonline does have a chop option available. I was actually unaware of it the first time and IMMEDIATELY after I was eliminated in 4th place the three other players chopped. I think they offer a ICM, chip count, and chop by current place. Obviously all players have to agree. The option is on the left side of the table and is available immediately when you go to the final table. You can also see how many people want to chop, but just the number, it doesn't tell you who.

Good luck!
