Playing in a $15 bounty tournament. Very loose table full of regs and average VPIP across all table around 30%.

The hand:
Blinds: 400/800/120ante

I opened TT to 1680 at UTG+1 (starting around 32,000). UTG+2, reraise to 5200.
To my knowledge, Villain is very aggro and have been flat calling a lot of UTG open or 3bets by late position.

Villain just lose a big pot couple hands ago, so my read was he is tilted and want to play a big pot. Hence with TT, I decided to flat his 3bet.

Flop: Pot is 12,560
As Js Th,
IÂ’m holding TT with the spade.

I check. V bet 4,125 into 12,560.
I call.

Turn: Pot is 20,850
9s
Board: As Js Th 9s

I check. V bet 6,881
I have approx 22k behind.

IÂ’m not sure what to do in this kind of spot. I take into account V strong Ax hands given the Preflop action (AK AQ AJ). IÂ’m only behind to AA, JJ and KQs - If V has AA or JJ, I still have flush draw outs. Against KQ, I have FH odds.

In that situation, I shove my TT, V calls with KdQs.

IÂ’m not sure if cold-calling Preflop with TT against aggro player was right? Would 4bet pre a better play? Or shoving the turn was a bit loose?

The only flush combo that smash the flop was only KQs. As I have the Ts. Hence, I donÂ’t really put V on flush. Perhaps AK AQ with K or Q being the spade. Which I want to get max value.

Any comments on how you will approach this hand different? Appreciate it.

I don't understand how you concluded that decision from your read of villain. If he's tilted and trying to play a big pot, then he's probably 3-betting wide, and TT is exactly the kind of hand you'd want to 4-bet shove in that scenario.

Just rip it pre if he is tilted. He will fold some Broadway combos that have good equity, call with some that we are flipping vs and he will sometimes call with worse pairs. If it's JJ+ so be it.

C/jam flop and I don't think it's close. He almost always has at least a pair + straight draw and doesn't seem to be in the folding mood.

I also jam turn.

Unless villain is total spaz/ try hard reg I’m flatting the 3b most of the time.

Im raising flop bet, any broadway is 4 to a straight and apart from losing to the 1 card straight I don’t want it to kill my action vs his value.

As played shipping turn I guess.

Calling flop is really bad here. We need to protect against spades and Broadway cards.
