i remember like 4 years ago i sucked out on i blade u at the final 2 of the 50/50. He went insane and told me how terrible I was over and over again.

It was my biggest ft ever at the time and he was someone i perceived as a reg that was better than me (boy was I wrong).

Nobody **** on anybody. I'm pretty sure I wasn't being confrontational. Just wondering what he's thinking about the hand.

This thread is epic seems like there's a lot of pent up post bf and wsop anger out there lol.

Who had the biggest influence on your game and what did you learn from them?

What is your favorite poker story/memory?

Most notable suck out (good or bad)?

Definetly Bkice on a intangible level. He taught me the value of hard work and specific stuff i need to be doing to get better. Before talking to him i was a super lazy poker player who had fallen behind every1 considerably, now im probably one of the most hard working mtt'ers out there. He def taught me other stuff but this was the biggest thing.

Me and my buddy played some live cash game day before the wcoop main, and after we finish our session he chills at my place. We wake up the next day and decide to take a shot at a 1 table Sng to the main event get HU and suckout to win. Then we played the main together the rest of the day and ended up getting 5th. Was probably the most fun i had playing a online mtt.

Well the 1st suckout i could think of was when i 3b out of the sb deep in the wcoop and bb insta min cold 4b i have 43o and im positive hes misclicking but i cant jam cuz i have no FE so i stop n go. i forget what the flop is but i jam he has AA and i win this was with like 18 left or something and i ended up getting 4th.

Worst bad suckout was probably 88 vs 88 with like 5 left in the sunday milly for all my chips

Not as long as only one person controls the mouse/keyboard, no matter how much advice the other person is giving.

Hey dude, thanks heaps for the well, really awesome to hear you talk through the 3-betting stuff especially for someone who is a pretty epic nit like myself.

1. Who in your opinion are the top 5 online MTT'ers?

2. What makes each of them so good? (If this is too time consuming than no probs, I also remember you saying that you don't know a bunch about a lot of people so cool if you can't answer).

3. What do you think is the best way to mentally overcome playing for big money/focussing on just making the best decisions and not letting the $$$ affect your decisions? (I understand that there are always ICM considerations so the $ should to some degree affect our decisions, but I guess to still make the same decisions deep in say the WCOOP ME vs a $55FO).

Again, thanks for doing this. I also have a young one (17 months) and could not agree more that it is the most rewarding thing in the world. It's so awesome playing poker fulltime to get to spend so much time with him in the early years and watching him develop, I'm sure you appreciated that aspect of playing poker fulltime too! GL in everything you do!

I suggest reading this http://www.amazon.com/Journey-Autobi.../dp/0689856083 this was the most motivating book i ever read and it inspired me to work 3x harder than i ever did. Reading autobiographys in general can be really motivating/inspiring, ive read a bunch and this is by far the best one in terms of motivating u.

I think its normal to go thru periods of just being super lazy and unmotivated. Pretty sure close to every1 goes thru it, if not everyone. Just gotta find ways to remotivate yourself as quickly as possible. Different things work for different people so u just gotta figure that out for urself, the only suggestions i have rly are reading books like the one i mentioned above, and taking a break. Taking a break is a rly slow process for me (in terms of getting me motivated to play again) but sometimes its the only thing u can do.

This post wasnt nessecarily aimed towards you, im not sure if u consider this a problem and u didnt ask for advice on it. But even if u werent looking for any advice i think this can be helpful for other ppl who read this.
