Turning all those NLH events 6max makes me personally sad. Seems inconsistent with the popularity of the weekly lineup we have.

I give up with Stars. We (working people) asked for some big events on Friday night Euro time as it is one of the only nights we can fully concentrate on. What did we get?

Event 17 - 14:00: $215 NL Single Draw 2-7 [Re-Entry]
Event 18 - 17:00: $320 NL Hold'em [Turbo, Zoom]

Event 38 - 14:00: $530 FL Omaha H/L
Event 39 - 17:00: $215 NL Hold'em [6-Max, 10-Min Levels]

Event 59 - 11:00: $215 NL Omaha H/L
Event 60 - 14:00: $1,050 FL Hold'em [6-Max]

Why is there no big nlh or plo event at a good time on Friday? The only good events scheduled for Friday (events 16, 37 & 58, a $215plo, a $215r nlh and a $530 1r1a nlh respectively are scheduled at 4pm GMT which is too early). Can you swap the times for 16 & 17, 37 & 38 and 58 & 59 please, you would get far more runners.

Please also consider rewriting the entire 1st Friday schedule, if at all possible.

Nothing can be done after games are in the lobby. I am not satisfied with the changes. I'm still going to play, but Stars made a better job in the previous years. It's going to be huge, but the potential was even bigger imo.

But this changes were already included in the tentative schedule or you edited that post and it only looked like there were no changes. And no.40 is 8-max in the lobby.

I think feedback is supposed to be more for future wcoop schedules...also a lot of people have been upset with stars lately but from their perspective its so hard to please everyone and the management has to make tough decisions

I get that, and I wasn't expecting them to make major schedule changes, but there were tons of good suggestions for this year to have some good small changes that they ignored. (bigger buy-ins, events different days/times/etc.).

Would have loved to see a huge flighted $109 or $215 like your sister-site FTP does (and like the Football Fever you ran earlier). The above poster has a great point about Friday nights in the euro time zone being a let down. I see a lot of changes to 6-max and Prog. KO tournaments. I don't know if this is such a good idea. Us here on 2p2 might pester you for more 6-max because we like the action but I think the bottom of the food chain type probably prefer 9 or 8 max. And if we don't have those people playing the ecosystem dies. Just my .02 cents.

What's the reason for NLHU tournament buy-ins? $215 and $10k? (And no intermediary one.)

There are a ton of midstakes NL players who would play a HU event regardless if it was $215, $320, $530 or even $700 ($1k begins to scatter away probably some who play NL400 or so). $215 buy-in just makes the prizepool way smaller. Please reconsider going for $530 because it will most likely attract roughly the same field.

And besides shouldn't WCOOP be more prestigious than the weekly HU which have currently the same buyins.

A 109$ flighted tourney running every day at a fixed time for the duration of the wcoop with the final on the last day would have been huge IMO

Why did you change so many mtts to 6max, it seems so random?

In examining the schedule, we didn't feel that the relative popularity of 6-Max was reflected in the schedule, and so we corrected this. Time will tell if we've gotten it right.

3 of 4 PL/NL O8 MTTs are 6-max and they didn't offer any sort of Courchevel.

Don't forget your MTT players bring you rake too.

What a slap in the face!

It's a mistake to take tournament scheduling personally. We're aiming to provide the best playing experience for the maximum number of players, and it's just not possible while doing so to make everyone happy all of the time. The general consensus on Omaha tournaments seems to be that 6-Max is preferred, by a wide margin, over 9-Max. As for Courchevel, we made the decision to cut it from this year's offering, in favor of more Omaha. This is not to say that Courchevel cannot or will not return in the future, just that we chose not to hold a Courchevel event in 2014's WCOOP.

Thank you for the feedback!

I have two questions for you Bryan:

How many daily MTTs that are 6max get a prizepool of 20k or greater?
How many daily MTTs that are 9max get a prizepool of 20k or greater?

Now realize just under half of the added big bet tournaments during WCOOP are 6max.

well 6max is way more popular with cash game regs, many of whom will make up the target audience for "recreational" (wrong word, but you know what I mean) players in big WCOOP events, so that's a factor.

Has anyone ever figured out why there are such format disparities between cash and mtts?

Like, cash is 6 max because it's more action, but they don't generally like ante games. Tournaments in general are 9 or 8max, but they have .10-.15 antes because that makes the game wilder. Not sure I understand how we got to this point.

i like the changes for 6-max. But as i mentioned a few times before regarding best playing experience in my opinion the most important thing is to increase number of hands played per hour (by decreasing time to act per street, timebank) and then decreasing blind level time so that tournaments dont last so long but the same number of hands is played (so deepness of tournaments is not effected but it is much more action and better experience). And in my opinion it doesnt decrease the skill factor of poker.

To see if this is popular you could make a survey per e-mail like you make it for the customer service very often or just test it by introducing a few of this tournaments.

it would be nice if you could tell me via pm or in this thread what you think about that suggestion. in the current state it is just too boring for me to play mtts with 40 hands per hour and often more than 10 hours until tournament end.
