Reason: missed a stat
ur just running bad. it happens to everyone... the only way to get through a bad stretch is to play more. i went through a horrid 45k hand stretch where my expected value was something like 485k chips and actual results were -350K chips in all in situations... tracked with tourney luck.
HOWEVER... you never know when you'll have 1 tourney when everything will go right. during that horrid stretch i had back to back days where 3 tourneys went good i made $3,800. so u never know.
to give u an example of the sick sht that was happening... i flopped QQQ on xQx flop... turn was an Ace... all money went it.... villain showed AQ vs my QQ.... final board was xQxAA.... for a 40k pot to knock me out of tourney. villain is something like .30% to win on flop and 4% to win after the turn.
just play more and know that no matter how bad it gets... it will turn around.
All of these hands are what broke the tourneys for me. i guess my question is am i making bad plays which i know you would need a bit more info or is it just a losing streak but i think you might have answered that. im a bit of a noob and ive been studying theses forums for a while now so pardon the elementary post. just feels a bit rediculous getting beat up so badly lol
Yes, it's variance. I've been having oddball sh*t luck these past few days, too, seeing more runner-runner miracles knock me out in the last 72 hours than I normally see in a month.
I'd post it in the BBV forum, but I get more sympathy when I just tell my dog.
