This was a $3.30 buy-in deep-stacked MTT, about an hour or so into it.

Blinds at 50/100 (ante 10).
Everyone is still reasonably deep, with stacks at my table ranging from 3,001 to 11,806.

Hero is UTG with AK (3,925 in chips [7th of 9 at table]).
Villain is BB, is the shortest stack (3,001), and has seemed marginally sketchy. Nothing super-overtly fishy, but has done things like facing a HJ open and BTN 3bet, cc'ed in SB not closing the action; over-valued a moderate-strength hand (can't remember if it was 2nd pair or tpmk) post-flop [mostly by way of calling off big chunks light, iirc].

Pre-flop (pot 240):
Hero raises to 250, 7 folds, BB calls.

Flop (pot 640): A64
BB checks, Hero bets 325, BB raises to 931, Hero calls.

Turn (pot 2,502): A647
BB bets 1,810 and is all-in, Hero???

Half pot is way too big on this flop vs the BB. You want to really target his 4x and 6x hands plus stuff like 78 here. Can prob just go 1/4 pot to 1/3.

I mean villain is sometimes going to have a set and 64s but I'm not folding this high up in my range. I mean you'll have AA/666 for better hands here basically so can't really fold.

Probably a sigh-call expecting him to turn over A6/A4. Without a read that he's a tricky/aggressive player, it's hard to see him taking this line with a worse hand. Could he be overplaying a hand like AJ/AT? Would he shove turn with those hands after you call his flop x/r?

Easy fold...

One thing that drastically improved my success at the micros was folding in spots like this

Yes I think this is an exploitative fold. Read on V seems to be calling station rather than aggressive -spewy so I think we are behind here almost always.
I would be more inclined to call if there was a flush draw on he flop but the only semibluff raise I can see in V's range is 57 - will be lots of A6 A4 64 35 as well as sets. The fact that V is fishy preflop means that he can have offsuit as well as suited combos of some of these
