This hand happened pre covid 2019
600$ live tourney, 1.2k min cash
91 left, 90 get paid
Im in cutoff with 3bbs and TT, i shove, bb is big stack so will probably call any 2
There’s another dude at another table with 1.5bbs thats utg or utg+1 not sure, its bb ante so he would’ve been allin automatically.
My buddy told me that my hand is a easy fold. What do you guys think?

When you are this short on the bubble, but also not the shortest stack, locking up that min cash is your #1 priority. I may be only shoving AA in this spot. Doubling up to 8bb isn't going to increase your $EV much more than a min cash, while busting here is a disaster. Even jamming KK and running into Ax is a disaster, $EV wise.
If you are the shortest stack in field, then you can be wider since its harder to wait for someone to bust, and I think TT would be a shove then.
If you had a bigger stack (10bb-15bb), then you have fold equity + doubling up has more value so you can shove a wider range, including TT, but still tighter than a push/fold chart says to shove.

Looking back on it i should’ve folded
My logic at the time was that if the dude doubles or even triples up then im the one who is f’ked.
Anyways i won the hand, the short stack busted next hand. However i busted one away from the next pay jump so kinda risked it all for nothing.
