Bounty tournament and me and villain have been loose. early in the tournament we battled through the following hand

hero completes with 25dd, v checks

2c4d5c, hero bets smallish, call, turn 8s, hero bets, call, river Kd, hero check calls the missed FD

so three streets of value there, since then i have figured out that villain is actually really good, he's been super aggressive vs a passive table and is making what seem like good plays to me.

He should perceive me as active, the table is passive so i've been raising pretty frequently, but recently picked up a string of hands that went uncalled....this is my 3rd raise in a row but he didn't know i got dealt AQo both times and now this

9 handed

Hero has QdQc

Hero MP1 raises to 2.5BB, V calls MP2 (chip leader covers), BTN (40BB), calls, blinds fold

Kd4d5c

Hero bets 4BB, both call

2h Hero checks, v bets 11BB. BTN tank folds, hero?

V bets 11bb with two players to act, that’s a strong bet and V has plenty of Kx sets and A3 in range even with us blocking KQ floats

We also block dd with the Qd

We’re in no man’s land with QQ and I’d just cf and move on

I’d also start by checking the flop. We aren’t worried about giving a free card to QJ JT T9 holdings and we can cc a street or two on safe runouts.

feels like i'm blocking the KQ combos and the flush draw combos so it's something onthe bottom of the board like set or 2p or sraight

checking seems find OTF too but i like the K high board for my range, more of a range bet also i feel like i'm getting some value from worse and also my hand is blocking KQ, so king does not scare me

For me, I think the flop bet needs to be a bit smaller (if you decide to bet). On turn, I think it's a fold when he bets into 2 players, also depends on how deep we are.

Agree with range bet on K high boards HU. Don't agree with range bet on K high boards multi-way, especially with a strong underpair. One of those too weak to bet but too strong to bluff situations.

Flop: I would check first to act, 3 handed. You can still have KK if you ch/c. If you bet then I categorize this as a bluff. It is way too thin to be bet for value into 2 PPL with an underpair. Would you bet for value if you were on the BTN and it was checked to you?
Turn: AP, I would either continue my bluff as no one else can really have AK or KK or check evaluate (most likely give up). Since no one raised our flop bet we can discount sets. Also not really any 2prs on this flop. It's not great that we have Qd but this is still a decent spot to continue as our perceived range is very strong. I would go 70%. If V calls then we know he has at the very least pair + FD (like 5x d) since he has a person behind. If only BTN calls, he could have all the draws or K. If both call, I might empty the clip on the river if it bricks out. Neither player will have better than a 1 pair hand and we look SUPER strong.
