i still dont understand why everyone think that i wanted to fold this hand. i was chilling on the river deciding if i want to shove, or try for c/raise all in if he bets.
at no point during my play of this hand was i thinking about folding.

but while im thinking about how im going to try to get the most $ out of this situation. my hand timed out in an absurdely quick manner, with no clock countdown or anything.

hope this is clear. the only reason i posted this in the first place was cuz i was on tilt thinking i got screwed out of 160k in tourny chips and a chance to make a deep run 2 the top 100 in that tourny. i was wondering if in fact it was a mistake on p.s part, if there was anything that would be done.

regardless of all the levelling op's post (as hilarious as it is) brings up probably one of the biggest flaws of PS and it has been over looked for way to long. something about that timebank/time counter down method ish thing has to change. tilt has the bar along the bottom, ub the circle with that distinct beep, stars jus has a beep when you have no timebank left.. nothing else, its just guesswork when to act after your timebank is gone. an then to add insult to injury instead of just checking down (i.e full tilt, which doesnt even say if you are sittingout) when you timeout it insta mucks and ships the pot. thats ****ing LOL wrong/bad. at least check for the sitting out player an leave it up to other players in the pot to exploit the situation with a bet to scoop the pot when sitting out or w.e.

I'll give you a response. It's easy to get frustrated in this spot because you have a great hand (it's no Q10h, but still), however imagine a situation when you have garbage and you walk away from your computer.

After your timebank runs out & it checks, your opponent bets...should the whole table have to wait for your 15 second time bank again? And then the next hand? No, instead you will be automatically switched to sitting out (auto folding)...not after the 6th timeout, or the 3rd, but after the first timeout.

It's a courtesy to the other players, and a good one at that. Not as big a courtesy as folding 2nd nuts, but still helpful.

I hate to be serious in this epic thread, but I know exactly what OP's saying. I've had a couple times before where even though I had timebank and $$ invested in the pot, it didn't automatically kick in and my hand was auto-folded when I let my 15 seconds or w/e run down. Nowadays I use Table Ninja and it solves this problem by auto clicking the timebank every time it shows up regardless. But yea, for one reason or another sometimes the software tools a bit and doesn't automatically bank for you when you expect it to and it sucks.

this thread is messing with my emotions, because there is NOTHING THAT TILTS ME MORE THAN THIS, but also the thread is so awesome as is, that I dunno whether I'd prefer a thread full of people bitching about it or this one. hard to say.

I was the villain in this hand. I seriously had QT. When he checked the turn, I knew he had the nuts, but I bet because i had the double gutter straight flush draw and I thought I could win a big pot if I hit. Now I see that he had one of my outs, so I should have just open-folded on the turn when I knew I was beat, like he did on the river.

Sickest out-metagaming of my career. I'm just quitting poker.

I think calling turn is spew, Just check raise/ price yourself in nicely and fold to a shove...you're ahead now, but he obv will hit on the river...as Darvin would say, "he's drawing, Im not gonna throw away my chips".

had very similar thing happen to me, sent pokerstars my logs and they said sometime early in the tournament i was big blind and i lost my connection therefore I also lost my time clock.. I swear I do not recall this ever happening. Although since pstars said it happened , I guess it happened.. Also very deep in a big mtt
