Would be interested on views of fellow MTT players grinding the 55+ games on stars.

So I have taken a break from poker for about two years and been back since fall last year mostly grinding midstakes MTT up to 109.

I would always prefer to grind an off peak schedule (euro mornings) since I like playing the smaller fields and have a nice sleeping schedule.

I recall back in 2017/2018/2019 there were some great MTTs available 82/109 buyin often with +40% Pure fish getting 100 - 200 runners between 8 am - 14 pm Euro time...

These days I really don't see that anymore. Stuff like the Big 82 / Hot 109 around 8 am gets cancelled regularely and if they run, the games are far from good with around 30% recreationals on a good day. Even stuff that runs regularly few hours later like BB 109 and special 109 at lunch time have terrible fields on most weekdays filled with good MTT pros, some b/e nit regs and very few fish. This cannot be the reality of onlinepoker in 2022 at non-high stakes?!

Maybe its better during peak times (euro evenings), I can't tell. But looking up some of the players I perceive good on SC shows ridiculous 10-15% ROI at 55+ ABI which to me just seems a waste of time at this point. I would like to hear some input from fellow grinders playing these games and how you perceive the state of the game at the moment..

PS: Below 55 the games actually seem pretty good and putting in the work with PIO/GTO Wiz definitely pays off

We can agree that 25ks 50ks and 100k's are basically unbeatable following your logic right ?
And yet, there's people that year-in-year-out comes out a winner at those stakes.

Same for wsop tourneys, some people just show up and kill the series nearly every year, you see my point ?
The outliers never stop working, and it applies down to 55$s and bellow on the internet, the ecosystem isn't the same as it was before

You just gotta work on your game so hard you start to bumhunt regs at the table, thats how ****ing tough you gotta aim to be.
