Hello 2+2ers,

i ended my mystery bounty tourney last nights with this hand. we were about 950/1000 left with 2700 getting ITM and over 16000 entrants!

cEV is in my shoving range almost every time but i am unsure if in these situations i should jam or min raise / fold or fold. unfortunately i don't have any software that can help me with this yet

Any thoughts on how i should adjust my shoving ranges from LP? should i be tighter? do Ax combos have more value in icm scenarios?

Thank you for all the possible inputs i can gain from this post

Thank you

Tough spot, I think you still jam here but you're right, if the blinds are getting it in significantly wider against us due to the KO, with our diminished fold equity (and fact we are flipping everything at best) it has to be close. I do think if you decide not to shove here (which again I think we still jam here) I'd prefer just folding versus r/folding. Not sure this hand plays great as an raise/fold (in general small pairs aren't very effective at stealing due to lack of blockers and post flop playability when called)

To your other question, I like what you said a lot, I think the Ax hands are more interesting jams since you're suddenly getting called by worse, so oddly I'd prefer jamming a6 here > 22 (whereas in a freezeout it's the other way around) since now villain calls with a2-a5 and maybe even K6s and definitely several other king highs and broadways (depends on how big your KO is of course)

16000 entrants is a heck of a field, hard not to take any close spot from LP in big fields like this (whereas I may err towards folding close spots in EP in these massive fields) nice run, you'll get em on the next one!

Really easy shove. Bad luck he had a good pp. Yes, should push a little tighter in a knockout.

Actually, it really depends on what bounties are left since this is a mystery bounty. In many formats, the top bounties are worth as much as (if not more) than winning the top spot. If those bounties are still in play, I'm calling the BU shove with ATC if I have him covered. (Unless we both have giant relative stacks).
