Satty Play the same as Bubble Play? Satty Play the same as Bubble Play?

This may be a slam dunk exact spot, but I think the question may go beyond the spot in general. How do you treat a Satty Bubble as compared to a 'real money' bubble.

20 Players left in low level Satty .. 19 win a tournament ticket, 1 'wins' less money than paid to get into the Satty
No stacks at either table are below 4bb at this time
Hero has folded for 3 orbits, V has seen all 3 orbits but not much before that time
Hero has 6.5bb .. V has 12bb behind after posting BB and BB Ante

Folds to Hero ..
1) Does Hero even consider raises other than all-in, even folding or just shove when they look and see AA?

2) If Hero does shove, then what should BB do with JJ/TT taking into account the 3 orbits of zero activity.

How different, if at all, is our approach in a Satty when all the prizes are the same?

While is may seem very silly to most .. can AA OTB even consider folding to see what happens in the next 8 hands before putting 2bb into play from BB?

Does V consider that 12bb is a 'very good' stack and not risk dropping into the bubble line ..and having to post the SB next? GL

1) No its all in or fold. You want to be the one applying ICM pressure on the blinds to discourage a call and winning the blinds is huge for you.

2) Vs a btn jam, I cant see folding JJ or TT, but once you get down to 88 you can seriously consider it.

3) The main difference is 19th has the same EV as 1st. Chips gained are going to be waaay less than chips lost.

4) No, not when there are no micro stacks that are going to be blinded all in. If there were several <2bb stacks then maybe you can fold, but still, increasing your stack from 6.5bb to 9bb is a huge win and gives a you another orbit to fold.

5) Depends on the average and how many short stacks... but yea the bb should not be calling allins very wide at all.
