It'd be nice if this thread could stay positive guys. Moved the rest of the discussion into the censored thread where I think it's appropriate and fine to go off on whatever rants/tangents you like. RIP Paresh, and gl to all of those who lost a loved one.
"Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow
of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: he hath
borne me on his back a thousand times; and now, how
abhorred in my imagination it is"
Wow...I bought shares of him a few times. Seemed like a cool guy and obviously a solid player. Was he suffering from some sort of illness or was this just some sort of accident?
tx for sharing details of his life @andrew and the others..
Dana Gordon is for sure one of the names I will remember in 50 years, when I hopefully left poker behind me for years, and its not because he went from us wayyy to early..
there are way to many ppl on this world dying in young ages, but I think about him for days and this thread just makes me sad since hours when I began to read..
"True Legends never really die"
Its a shame, I never met u irl,bro..
RIP HERO and my condolences to every1 who stood close to him!
This is terrible news, especially that from all accounts he was a stand out guy and poker player. May he rest in peace
Although this is a tribute thread i think it should be used to bring awareness as to what happened to him to reach his state where he wanted to end his life (i am assuming he took it from reading his last post) and why he did so, and if anything can be done to prevent it from happening again to another great kid who is facing similar issues, especially if they were related to playing too much poker.
Looking at his pic alone i could tell he should have been a great guy this is really terrible news RIP
took a break from the interwebs for a little while and I come back to this. so sad. one of the few guys I bought pieces of in the marketplace just for fun sweats.
