Shuan motivated countless people to grind a little more or start grinding in the first place. I am one of those people so owe a big thanks to Mr. Deeb.

He has set the bar and now we can grind and battle and try and move that bar a bit and maybe inspire him to comeback.

'Young Punk' Banned From Bingo Games

Stuart, FL (AP) - In the past week, a man, whose name is not yet known, appearing to be in his early twenties, has been ruthlessly dominating local bingo games. Playing up to 500 bingo cards simultaneously, the young man has taken what is to believed to be at least $1,000 out of the bingo community. In response to complaints that it was unfair for a person of his age to be playing in the games, the man claimed to have recently retired, but gave no further details.

Many regular players in the games, in addition to being upset with the youngster's constant winning, felt that he had a bad attitude. Mildred Wiley, 86, reports, "Whenever he won, he used to point his finger at the closest opponent and shout something like, 'Pancake Crushed!'".

Additionally, there were reports of the young man intentionally delaying announcing bingo to give false hope to his opponents. Milton Chester, 79, reports, "In one game, he was sitting next to me and I saw that he had achieved a bingo on just the fifth number of the game. He put a chip on the number, but waited for what seemed like forever before shouting out, 'Bingo'".

Having seen enough, Jeffrey Pollack, the recently-hired Martin County Bingo Commissioner, issued a lifetime ban at the close of business today. He said the young man would be allowed to keep the $6 worth of Jack Links' Beef Jerky he had won for achieving four simulataneous bingos, however.

Taxrules for livetournies are pretty sweet for me (as long as the events are in Europe) and I have no idea how it works in the US. But don't you pay the same % no matter if you win it live or online?

spend 2/3 days playing a decent event like a $1k with ur own $$, not being backed, and place itm....even if u reach FT with like 300runners and manage a 5th/6th place finish. bout little less than half of that goes to uncle sammy. u could make the same money playing a 109FO online in like 1/5 time without all the expenses+taxes.

why wouldn't you have to pay taxes on the 109fo? Also you didn't expand on your satelite comment, and I fail to see how a small sample size makes it unprofitable to play livemtts.

i should of clarified my statements a bit. US taxes suck with live winnings if ur not full time poker player cuz it puts u in a higher tax bracket and u end up profiting maybe like 30% of what you actually won. im not tooting my own horn but i won roughly $80k live in 2008 and claimed I loss $20k in BI. I should have seen maybe 40% of the $60k but instead i owed the IRS $22k, $20k federal and $2k state. now $30k should of went to the IRS but after all the expenses i should have maybe, and im prob overestimating, owed them like $5k, not $22k.

im not saying live mtts are unprofitable. they obv are, esp cuz live players suck more. but for a person that doesnt play poker full time its becomes less attractive, for a few reasons that i stated + many more.

Online MTTers simply aren't that well at adjusting to deep stack no ante cash games. They should buy in for only like 50BBs deep to 2/4 and such to be somewhat profitable in general. There are obviously expections, but just not that many. Shaun Deeb would make it though in many leveled games in cash as well.

Ditto. When I set upon a goal of becoming #1 in a TLB, I listened and read every interview of Shaun. I achieved my goal. Thank you, Shaun "MotherF***ing" Deeb.
