Hi!
Anyone have any thoughts on what line I should take postflop here?
My initial thoughts -
a) Am I supposed to range check the flop given the board hits Villain's ranges harder then mine (ie both V's probably have 77,99 at full freq)? I have read that we should be value betting thin at these stakes because the population doesn't bluff raise enough in 3bt pots? Is this right?
b) Should I just jam the turn for 75% pot and get it in for value vs A9s, JJ, 88? Was the flop sizing to set up a turn shove on a cleaner run out too small?
c) Folding the river feels nitty given the SPR but do you think players are bluffing enough here? If so what would the likely bluffs be? AQ/AJ with the Ac? I'm not sure exactly what I even beat by calling here....... is this just a snap fold?

PokerStars $1.10 MTT
UTG: 58.16 BB

Flop : (32.46 BB, 3 players) 4s 7c 9c
UTG+1 checks, HJ checks, Hero bets 9 BB, UTG+1 calls 9 BB, HJ calls 9 BB

UTG+1 checks, HJ checks, Hero checks

River : (59.46 BB, 3 players) 9d

you look good on the flop

there is a lot of scary potential cards on the turn : A K 10 8 maybe 6 and 5

now 10 hits on the turn I would bet huge desoite its scary because checking is asking to get sucked out

I think flop
bet is too small... you get no respect for that small bet... they gonna cll you if they have some sort of equity

as played fold river, he has trips so often there, shoulda jammed flop where he would probably have believed you... or at leadt die a hero... but yeah... i think overall you just let him get there.

Flop bet is way too small on such a wet flop against 2 opponents.

I don't know if I could fold river. You've under-repped your hand big time and you probably would have heard from KK/AA on the flop. Plus I don't see UTG+1 having many 9x in his range and you do block AQcc/KQcc.

In this situation, your preflop play looks fine IMO. Looks like you are up against one donk and one reasonable player.

On the flop, first thing I'd look at is stack to pot ratio. At this point you have about 60bbs and the pot is over 30. So just under 2-1 ratio here. At this point I'd be willing to commit. I agree your bet of 1/3 is too small, because you are asking anyone on a flush/straight or AK to call and try to outdraw you. I'd bet closet to 3/4 pot here to make them pay the wrong price. Since you are up against two opponents, when you bet 1/3 pot, the first villian is getting 4-1 on their call. But then the second villain is getting 5-1 on their call. So your 1/3 bet is creating a situation to get calls.

I would agree with betting the turn, to prevent any further suck out and to define whether you are ahead or not.

River card is definitely scary as you maybe facing alot of hands that beat QQ and the bet was made by the potentially competent player.

Yeah as others have said we need to bet bigger on the flop on such a wet board. Also we have an over pair and about 2-1 stack to pot ratio here we can be okay getting it in, but the sooner we do that the better so we can size up the flop bet maybe 20-22bbs and then rip the turn if it’s decent for us

In this case we may want to consider checking back the turn as it’s a nasty one then likely look to check/call a small bet but against that river shove we can fold
