Even thought we know he open very wide , we still dont have a clue about his postflop tendecies , its really hard to say which play is better here between floating or folding but readless i suppose folding is better , after all if you 3-bet him very tight and he calls like this and donks he will get caught more often than not therefore its not a great error on your part.
