I have two step 4 tickets to the WSOP Sit n Go qualifiers on Stars. They are worth about $250 each. I can't trade them in for money or other tournaments. I was wondering if anyone knew what might happen to these tickets if I do not use them in time for the WSOP.

1. Will they expire and I lose the ticket value
2. Will they change in the T$ that I can use for other tournaments.

I suppose I should as Stars but I would be intrested in your opinions as well.

You keep them, and can use them for other steps coming up (I think PS Brian said you can use them for WCOOP steps e.g.).

I don't think they've promised that you can use them for other steps series yet, but it's a common request. It's possible that you won't be able to use them again until the next WSOP steps series, but I'm assuming they'll come up with a solution before then.

Pretty sure they did, but obv too lazy to check.

Nah, it seems like they're careful not to promise that. They posted this an hour ago:

On the other hand, you will not lose value that you have earned in a PokerStars tournament; that's simply not how we do business.

When the Step tournaments end, it's likely that the tickets used in those Steps will be usable in another Steps series in the future.

Absolutely not; we don't treat our customers like that, I'm happy to say. You've earned value with those tickets and will retain that value.

Steps tickets are not transferrable, either to other players or for cash, W$, T$, etc.

Having said that, I can tell you that the upcoming WCOOP Steps will accept WSOP Steps tickets.

Thanks a lot for the replys, I guess now I need to decided if I want to go for the WSOP or wait for the WCOOP. I think for me the better value would be the WCOOP.

Have there been WCOOP Steps before? I currently have a Step 5 ticket, valued at...$700? Would I be able to use the ticket to enter $700 worth of WCOOP tourneys, or onlt Step it to the higher tourneys?

or stars could just make a generic 1-5 step system so you could play any step and the "appt" and "lapt" ones would fill just as fast as the "wsop" ones.

Then you offer multiple step 6s

wsop,lapt,aapt.

the regs will be signing up for all and the fish will chose the package of their choice

The above is on the way for the *PT (E/AP/LA) Steps. You should see "Tour Steps" on the site before too long.

I will probably start playing more steps because of the "tour step program" because I am <21 and personally rather travel to more exotic locations.

"Hello Vedast,

Thank you for your email and the screenshot.

The ticket you have is still valid for other WSOP 2008 200 pks guaranteed
satellites we will organize.

There will be satellites until June, 29th. Please check our lobby for more
informations on upcoming tournaments.

If the WSOP starts and you still have the ticket, we will consider what
can be done to it but unfortunately we cannot transfer this ticket into
cash or another tournament.

We appreciate your understanding.

Regards,

Miguel B
