I couldn't care less what 35th of some bird paid. I just want more for first place to bring back that excitement.

Not quite by 22k, but by 3320$ (not counting rake). Counting rake it overlayed by 152$, though some of that rake is paid in starscoin.

More structure like 1519667656 ( 55 20k on sundays and 6k weekdays. )
Really good for the times that people typically end their session.

And is going to get worse, Supersonic last sunday $4.2 rake 1473 players, today $10.24 rake 1401 players, it´s like saying "Oh raise me the rake again", and they will. It´s like turbo rake. Im amazed the small impact on hypers. Which sites are not raking rebuys?

Currently about any other site except Stars. Also those sites that operate in regulated markets and have to pay taxes for effective prize pools rake their rebuys. That being the real reason why rebuys are raked in .fr-sites, but Stars got greedy and think their customers are idiots eating "we just level the playing field"-story.

There are some small sites and 888 which rakes some rebuys (mainly small under 1$). I don't know any other major site / network doing it outside of regulated markets.

They don't think; they know.

Ty, it seems 888 is raking only second chances, initially i thought they were raking rebuys but they are not, they need to improve how they show the information.

From what I can see Stars seems to be doing everything just right. even 215$+R was running this sunday, 109$+R had not overlay and supersonic didnt suffer from rake increase either. Also I dont see how this awful payout structure has had any impact on participation... Apparently players just don't care. Next step will be increase in FO rake maybe by 15-20%, soon enough rebate for rebuys will be gone and stars coin value decreased

would be interesting to poll supersonic players if they knew about the rake increase or not... surely more than enough recs just regged expecting the same tournament as a week before.

Give it time slowly but surely the changes will kill the games.

The players might not even realise that the changes have come into effect to be honest it's not like they were widely published anywhere.
Over time that will change as more and more people become aware and word spreads of it. Or players themselves come to the realisation they are not beating the games anymore.

Well all the regs were in there battling as well. People go on twitter and come in this thread to talk **** about stars but then can't help themselves still regging the hypers. So what's the point really?

not being able to beat a certain game hasn't affect the games in the past at all...especially when u see popularity of hypers or spins....

It doesn't look mutually exclusive.
You can despise changes and post showing how smart you are and still play these games if its still acceptable for you.

Sadly, this is so true...the monday that the effects took place i was playing at my buddy's house with a couple friends who are HS regs...

I made sure to tell them about the rake increases in the hypers and the rebuys, and their universal response was 'well, even still, im not gonna skip rbeuys, and i think my game is good enough to still beat the hypers'

I've completely boycotted these games, and i hope the regs will start too as well, if for nothing else than to try and send stars a message...sadly, as we've seen, stars doesn't give a fk

I think there are a lot of people that don't really care about the rake. Playing online is much, much, cheaper than playing in a casino and it is far more convenient.

Also, a lot of players (like myself) play for fun. We do not play for income. If we happen to win, then great, otherwise it is the entertainment dollar. Think of it as social gaming but with the chance to actually win real money.

It's the same reason why casinos are packed with people. Nobody wins in the long run except for the house, yet they are still packed with people. It's fun, it's social, and there's a chance for a big score.

By the way, I used to play on Party for years. Never once did I ever bother checking what the rake was. I just played there because they had lots of games going on. I switched to Stars when Party died and never looked back. In fact, I would pay a premium to play on Stars just because there is so much liquidity there.

Of course people play for fun, there is not only nothing wrong with it but it's the foundation the poker economy is build on. I'm not talking about the people who don't care who still play for fun, like they always will. I'm talking about the MTT regs who are in here bitching and were on twitter bitching about #amayastars and have been, at best, breakeven before the rakechanges in hyper mtts and are still playing them now.

Everyone loved ansky and his boycott and loved the hate on the evil stars empire, but people still can't skip 4 mtts a day, in which they probably werent even making more than 3 bucks a game pre rake changes.

Any chance you can make the 2100 event Sunday 20min levels instead of the 15min right now, which is slightly less fast than the SM structure...... ? Please ?
