Alright it needs to be said. I dont mean to disrespect the new graphics engine but holy **** it is a piece of ****. It looks good but the performance is a joke.

It crashes on me daily, at least every 5-10minutes. I used to be able to grind 20-40 tables no problem now i cant even 1-2 table properly.

I've tried altering the aurora graphics engine to low-high and disabling other features but it doesnt stop crashing. Im using fiber optic internet too.

Heres an idea. Keep the aurora graphics if u want but at least allow the setting of old graphics too @pokerstars

If u guys need someone with knowledge on ur team im here for you

5 posts above your post is a fix for it, to disable aurora.
Ive had the same issues and also got that introduction from the live support to disable aurora and now the software is running normal and without lags.

I had insane "lag" while set to low, switched it to high and it runs very smoothly now.
This happened after their last update.

What's with the hyper-turbo time banks in the mixed events? You get like 4 seconds to decide preflop. Days with mixed SCOOP events there should be only NLH alongside, run the plo and plo8s on different days.

Do stars have a clear cut policy in terms of numbers on how far below guarentee a tournament has to be for it to be cancelled or do they wing it?

I had planned to play the hu scoop tonight but it currently has 4 players regged so want to know whether i should go ahead and make other plans

Man, I hate to disappoint you, but the 1050Ti is really an entry graphics card and you probably paid $350-400 more than MSRP since all GPU prices are through the roof right now, because btc miners are buying them left and right.

Depending on your previous setup, it could help however, I dunno, although I 've heard people with higher end graphic cards still having problems.

God. I just cameback to poker after some years break, and my Pokerstars client is crashing like yours 20 or 30 times a session, everytime i hope a HU SNG or a new table. Tried re-installing and etc, but nothing helps...

Im guessing there is something wrong. Take the HU total knockout tournaments for example. None of them starts until 00:30 CET.

the 82$ nlo8 hyper @ 00:38 cet
gets cancelled every other day because it does not get the minimum required 5 players
but when it runs it gets to the guarantee
so just lower the min player amount to 3 or 4 players
i think this will solve the problem

the problem is i think nobody from stars reads this
is there a good way to reach them twitter or email?
i play this tournament many times a week
just fix it stars
