I agree. Many of the "Bigs" and "Hots" are almost dead and many other tournament formats are outdated or almost dead too.

Nothing changed for a 3-4 years in which i played ...need change + bring back the old payout structure and rake ,then mby we can have not only good schedule but good guaranties back + more players .I guess this wont happen ,the team working on the schedule is quite bad + they are probably quite restricted i think,they must ressurect the old splash and 1r1addon tournaments but without the rake on addons/rebuys so they get the old big guaranties and people start playing them =more people=>even more people =more profit with less margin but more people .I doubt it they are braindead since amaya takeover ,greedines at its best.

Have the themes all changed for everyone else? I usually use 'Black'. It looks terrible now. Worse than Party.

This tournament is the best example for showing how messed up the payouts on Pokerstars are right now.
1st gets 2-3x the money of the 2nd place.
2nd usually gets 2x more than 3rd.
3rd usally gets 2x more than 4-5th.
1st gets ~10x more money than 4th.

Since the payouts were changed to this, the $22 Tripple Threat lost like 300-400 players.
The $215 Tripple Threat was already removed, because higher stakes players stopped playing it because it was way to top heavy and almost a winner takes it all.

Even the name "Tripple Threat" doesnt make sense anymore. Maybe re-name it to "Double Threat" till the tournament died completely?
I mean reverting the payouts to the old structure isnt even an option right luke?

This is seriously ridic, they are doing everything possible to kill the site.
Need to revamp the whole schedule, and fix payout structures.
Maybe make 1st and second place get same price or w.e
It sucks because by def pokerstars is the most comfortable site to play at, best software, good traffic.
But they are forcing everyone to play on different sites with all their moves

They are trying now to implement 30% PKO which means even worse payouts for top players since u get 70% of the KO in the account immediatly so if some crazy fish get 2-3 KOs by luck in the beggining he will get more money back so he can pay more rake in the long run but the last few tables of the tourney overall will get much less expecially the winner.

I checked one of them 11$ 30% pko 12.5k$ first place with deal take about 900$(without deal 1k) ,for example before payouts changes once i win 11$ with 7k$ for 1400$.

Revamping the schedule would be rearranging deckchairs but the PKO payouts are a disgrace. Could have sworn the gap closed between 1st and 2nd in the Bbuilders to something more reasonable after the original outcry but guess I was wrong.

The name on that tournament is so misleading, right? Still 50% of the buyin goes to the bounty and 70% is paid out when ko. 30% of the bounty is progressive.

And I thought they were putting up a 70% Pool and 30% KO PSKO with less super weird plays that happen in a usual Stars-PSKO

Shrewd game selectors: Is it absurd to skip "Hots"?

Play about 100 mtts a week, low-mid, cash-educated and was familiar Noah SD's blog before I started grinding mtts so have almost entirely skipped turbos (bar a few 6-max ones due to higher hands/min) to minimise variance.

Skipping turbos and a preference for small fields shows, ROI pretty and no downswings, but I want more money. Plus some of the vanillas seem needlessly relatively tough, feel like I may be doing it wrong. Is playing say a vanilla 11 over a Hot 7.5 leaving too much money on the table generally?

Luke,why theres no BB series low main event 55$ with 1.5mln gtd, oh i forget now ps i cheap ass company.Im from eastern Europe so i can work for you for lower salary in the team for mtts schedule than some of your coleagues which dont do the best job obv and losing a lot of value for stars.
