[OFFICIAL] PokerStars MTT Thread - Page 511 - MTT Poker Strategy

Since the latest update when I get dealt cards it doesn't display what the first card is until they're both dealt, then it shows them both.. Is there a setting to change this back? I know it's a stupid thing to care about, but I liked the sweat of getting an Ace first followed by the inevitable offsuit six.

Is there a way to get rid of this ugly SCOOP background? It's impossible to see. Clearly they fired their designers and art director for this to be put into production.

ya uninstall stars haha. nah look at the options on the top left of the table

I beta tested stars when paradise was the main site on the internet. I definitely tried that. :-) Not bragging, just a gripe of how far they have fallen.

What's weird is I can't find the bg image in the stars directory. They must be programmatically generating it or doing something else not standard. No idea how to change this.

I did find images of many old Team Pros no longer under contract taking up needless weight.

Reinstalling actually was the answer. FFS. Now I have the option to remove optional graphics. Version 7 is the nut low of PokerStars versions.

I guess I don't want this background to be fixed. I want everyone to use the SCOOP theme where you can't see anything. I'm sure once people see, more complaints will be incoming.

Hopefully they don't make these new graphics mandatory in the future. Have had the hyper simple theme for 10 years and it is still the best for multi tabling by a mile.

Pleeeease allow us to change the color of the background for the scoop tables. As someone who is often playing PLO, omaha8, and no limit at the same time, not being able to change the background color totally screws me up. Thanks!

+1. Only downside is that the hyper simple theme doesn't show the timer.

I haven't played stars in quite a few months. First session back today and my tables have been ridic laggy (I have a reasonably old/slow laptop but it never used to be this laggy before this update). People folding/the cards coming out and my clicks are just a bit off and it's really annoying. Anyone else having this problem?

Click "View options" icon on table, should be smt near the bottom that says "disable..."

stars just changed payout structures on stars.es

1st pays 2x 2nd now in everything <100e and they removed another chunk of money from the final tables .

guess it's rather pointless to play anything except for series events now lol .

A lot of Day 1s are too long, while Day 2s are too short. 9+h vs 5-6h is not balanced at all...

The idea is most likely that the majority of players do not want to return to a day 2 without a deep run / having it be 'worth' it.

Returning and committing 2 days to a tournament when you only have a min cash locked up (in a low or medium at least) seems like it would be annoying for anyone who isn't already playing everyday aka non pros

Probably the wrong thread but more likely to get a response compared to stars support - I am a UK player in Spain for a couple of weeks and wondered if there’s any restrictions on me playing whilst I’m here? Wouldn’t mind firing up a couple of late scoops if I’m allowed. The app lets me play zoom, but I can imagine they have some sneaky thing in place which kicks me out after 5 or 10 minutes. Thanks for any advice.
