On another note I wanted to bring up the much debated no re-entry/re-entry debate.
After experiencing them both across multiple poker sites during non peak hours I'm pro re-entry.
Take a look and compare these two tourneys on PokerStars.
The Big $33 freezeout with a 5K guarantee
$16.50 Mini Daily Pacific Rim Special Re-entry with a 10K guarantee
Both of these tourneys start at the exact same time. After playing both these tourneys the $16.50 just kills the other one in terms of not only enjoyment but also the prize is just so much more worthwhile.
It increases the prizepool which is more attractive for everyone and contrary to popular belief I think weaker regs get cannibalized more often in this format which should be great for the site in general. I've noticed much softer fields deep in the $16.50 than in it's comparative Big $33 freezeout.
The only downside I see is this tournament does last a few hours longer than the $33 but this is probably more of a function with the field size than re-entry.
If they are not going to give us better rebuy tourneys/cube tourneys etc. I think they should have more re-entry larger guarantee tourneys, etc. Especially during off peak times.
Poll for you players: Who really prefers the Big tourneys over the Bigger tourneys that they offer on Sundays?
I dont think u can compare those 2 MTT. Daily Pacific Rim its a 16.5$ MTT not a 33$ buy in like B33
For a rec b33 is not attractive because it's full of regs so they prefer RIM, b11, bb11 or rim with bb22.
If u are staked and if u want to play b33 u must be really good player otherwise u will play lower stakes....and the examples can continue
PS: for your poll... i prefer re-entry only on BB, its mutch enteresting (but i think reg speed will die if they do that)
