They're killing the profitability for everyone involved and spreading money(or taking it) around the best they can. Its been that way ever since Amaya took over. Its disgusting. I used to love what Stars was about, but that's all gone now. They don't give a **** about the players anymore.

Sorry for the negativity mttc. I just felt the need to vent since I haven't yet. Haha

I couldn't care less about the mincash or number of players paid, but I think reducing the first place is an error.

How much can I win? has been a historically strong draw to people. Casinos, Lotteries, everything uses a big prize as a way to generate interest. It doesn't seem good for anyone for first place to get smaller and smaller...

I totally agree with the comments in here , it's a sad time when we see this with things like the bigs on pokerstars now, it's obviously a way to try keep money in the system and spread winnings but it's not good for overall player base because as doggz says it's the big first place prize we look at .. Luke can you come in here and at least give us an answer on this

Neither do I, but I think most recs do. From my own experience (small sample size) recs look at 1st place and then a mincash.
I thought there were some good ideas in adjusting the structure, but this is terrible. lower first place, lower mincash, all just to pay more places so stars can churn it into rake.
There did indeed need to be a smaller gap between final table money, but it should be achieved by paying more towards the lesser end, not pay less to the top.

Is this structure now implemented in all bigs/hots?

New Structure is in the 11 6k$ too, not playing it again. That is what happen, people will cut the bottom tournaments because the first place isnt worth anymore and will add a better comp in another site.

I guess we can hope Playtech is going in fact to buy PS and set things back in proper direction. Even if they have similar strategy I guess it's worth finding out as it doesn't seem we have much to lose.

I think the Weekly $82 Horse & Weekly $82 FLO8 also got higher numbers. Letting them run 1h earlier means quite a significant boost for those small field MTTs.

Maybe the grand scheme running in the background is Scheinbergs selling PS at high knowing that Amaya will f*ck up, just to buy back at low and run the company back up.

Didn't Party Poker do something like this maybe 1 year ago? Ridiculously high ITM and laughable first place prize. But it's back to normal now. Even PP found out it was ******ed decision and fixed it, yet PS introduces it as an innovation in 2016. Bravo, the most modern site there is.

Face it, more and more of those changes will come,they said it several times, they will be looking for rec-players. More players are getting paid=more recs getting money and they can play slightly more =better experience or whatsover. Hurts Bottom-Line a bit and increases "Player experience" and Amayas Bottomline.

This Forum is by far not representative about those opinions from a players perceptive.

why cap the $11 100 seats gtd to SM at 2,500 players?!
makes no sense when the gtd equals to 2,150 players. oh well, no late reg for me

tomorrow's pink $11 sats, the 50 and the 100 seats gtd, also have the same 2,500 cap.
it would probably make sense to raise this number a bit, but suit yourself..
