cause if you do it in your usual time frame scoop will be over
phases need more sats, recs want to play the high version too, but if you dont offer anything but one single turbo sat they have little but no chance!

Hey all,
From Monday, most scheduled tournaments will have their minimum entrants increased from a low of three up to six. There shouldn't be much of an impact, but we'll be emailing all players who have played a tournament that started with five or fewer players over the past three months to alert them of the change.
Now, on to SCOOP!
We won't be running these for SCOOP. The offers for SCOOP are focused on building awareness. We want to make sure that all those players who enjoyed Turbo Series and Take 2 come back for SCOOP. It is also worth noting that the $1K ME already has over 70 players from satellites due to the fact that the satellites are aligned with the tickets being generated in Spin & Gos. 
The WCOOP ME is a bit of a different beast in that everyone is aware of it, but we wanted to give people a push to qualify early.
I agree! I'll make sure we add a couple regular speed satellites. I think the regular speed format with 50BB starting stack would be a good fit for NLO8...
SNG satellites will be available for all Events closer to their start times.
I'll request these, but if they do not run frequently, they'll be unceremoniously removed.
It looks like we have five scheduled for today. I think it would make sense to have On-Demand options for this Event. We'll sort it.
I know we pushed the Phases pretty hard last year, but that is not the plan this year. They were added for this week so that players could enjoy them if they want to, but the satellite offering is intentionally sparse. I'd prefer to run satellites to Sunday's events and the Main Events as well.

Not sure what to tell you about the structures. It is SCOOP. Get some Red Bull.

Yes, last year had different structures. We're trying something different with this Phase since it isn't meant to be a centrepiece of the Series, just more poker to play.
Sometimes people say to remove gimmicks, sometimes people want them. We have to mix up our play.
As for 5-Card Draw, we ran it in Turbo Series with the intention of benching it for SCOOP. Its participation last year did not fill us with confidence...
Anyone else? I'm not aware of any issues.

All of the NLO8 satellites I've seen so far are Hyper-Turbo. Would be nice to get some regular speed satellites for this format (and all other mixed games). Also, will there be any SnG satellites? Single-table and/or multi-table?

This is a Slow series so players should have a chance to qualify for higher events in Slow structures. Reg speed STTs make a perfect candidate for this as they wouldn't go too long (about 1 hr) for being a satellite but still give the feeling that it is not just spinning a wheel to qualify (like hypers).

+1 for this. Totally unplayable, just opened NLO8 6-max lobby after reading CS post and found that there's 20-30 minute blinds. This is supposed to be action game, not a "who stays up for longest period"-marathon.
