Yep,thats why i dont play them and the other sng mtt above 3.5 $ .I can make profit with them but dont like too much regs on one place .Anyway with no promotion for sng,no rakeback, bad traffic its normal for them to fill up very slow thats why i stopped playing 1.5$ 90 man knockout which i like and they are funny but have very big rake and fill up very very slow at day and again slow but not so much at night.

The way that I see it is that you guys are completely under valuing these tournies and IMO they are BY FAR the funnest ones to play:

1.In regards to heads up, I do believe it is most difficult as a rec, but it is pure fun due to the amount of action you get and the rebuy structure allowing you to essentially always have a shot

2.PLO progs are more rec friendly and also incredibly fun due to the variance allowing anyone to run hot for a tourny and rack up those bounties

3.Zooms and PKO zooms are also a very fun format, but also actually very grinder friendly in taking less time AND also allowing you to essentially play 15 minute blinds due to the fact you can play at least 3 hands (or fold that is) per minute

I think that you guys could use more of all of the above:

2 more HU tournies from 12-10 eastern

2 more PLO PKOs (maybe even zooms here as well, now THAT would be fun)

Some more PKO zooms, but specifically I would HIGHLY suggest doing some hypers with 1 minute blinds, I think those would be GODLY for you guys in allowing people to essentially get through tournaments in quick times, but they're pretty much only turbos due to the amount of hands that would be played

That is why I was asking for your feedback because IMO, the suggestions I've made so far have done well for you guys (although IMO you guys could market them better through a variety of methods) and I would love to see an expansion of them.

I was talking about Zooms with 1 minute blinds, you can play 3-6 hands in 1 minute (mostly folding), so it's like playing a turbo/hyper.

"Turbo" zooms are actually 15 minute+ blinds in essence because of the number of hands you can see.

For sure thats why zoom tournaments ends for 5 hours and a reg speed ends for 8-9,also a zoom with 1 min blinds will end about 2-3 times faster than hyper turbo so its theres poker only in the first 6-7 mins and after that is luckfest

That's wrong, you will still have to defend blinds, limp blinds and have correct calling ranges/understand ICM.

The edge is smaller than in a normal tournament, but there definitely is an edge, you just need more tournies for it to manifest.

I don't think recreational players really like playing 18mans either; its just that there is nothing else running after 10pm so they have no choice, which is massively different than them liking them in the first place. And if they don't particularly like the format/style of game available then eventually they wont bother playing it at all which hurts us all

- The $15 Demands that run nicely at peak times become dead by 10pm or so as are the $3 180 Rebuys. 45 mans run very poorly even at peak times and after like 10pm the $7 are completely dead so i would love to see them merged into the $8 180mans Demands but that isnt happened which is why i suggested merging into 27Mans

- I just think we need to consolidate some of the games/buyins to ensure a consistent flow of games more or less around the clock (obviously 4am-2pm ROW time SNGS will be semi dead and there not much that can be done about that but if we merge some levels/games then we can make all hours outside of that time frame nice and busy instead of only thriving between exactly 6pm-10pm
Cmon, dont judge games that you probably dont play and dont even know how many recs loves to play them. Look at uzsidoboz88, dragus73, kolobos_vrn, those guys grind hard and probably enjoy this format a lot and its not about after 10pm, i get same recs everyday, any time slots. Dont try to get me flipping burgers in McDonalds, bro. 18mans is literally the only format i can make living on, might be motivation to play them for new players :P

This is only true if rake is not a thing.

There's 10% rake in every game, I fail to see how there is any difference between hypers in the long run and regular tournaments. Obviously you need to be rolled for more if you exclusively play hypers, but similar spots will come up in both over a long enough time line and you will be forced to make tough decisions.

From what I've seen, hyper play is considerably worse than regular tournament play and although the edge is naturally smaller, the mistakes people make are much much bigger.

Hey Luke, I don't know where to post it, so please address it to programmers.
There is a bug at cash games. When you are in waiting list and you have your replayer open and it is an active window at this moment, and the "Seat Available" sign appears

and if you accidentally closed the replayer then it will disappear and will never come again.
Within one minute you will receive the following message

And now you will never see that "Seat Available" sign again unless you restart the client.
You will receive the notification: Sorry, you did not respond in time...
and you will be removed from all waiting lists.

Sorry for off-topic

Really? I don't want to turn this topic into a rake discussion but this bothers me too much. First off, hypers are only 5% and there's a good reason for that. If a tournament lasts only 1 hand then 1% rake is unbeatable, if a soft tournament lasts for 5 days with 60min levels then 50% rake is beatable. 10% on hypers is often not beatable, 5% on hypers is still too high in the tougher hypers, and your suggestion of 1min levels is just a trap for everyone, even if zoom. Stars has plenty of formats like this already, just go play beat the clock or something. Think of rake paid per hand, not per tournament.

Typo, was in another thread.

Anyways, I view hypers as glorified spins which are beatable, especially at lower levels despite the 8%+ rake.

For most people, I would guess hypers are over in the 20-30 hand range (15-25 minutes), having 1 minute zoom hypers would actually allow you to play MORE hands in less time seeing as you should be able to play 3 hands per minute AT LEAST (more like 5+ if you pay attention).

This would likely mean you'd be playing 1.5x+ the amount of hands at 1/3 the time. I fail to see how this is a bad thing, unless you think hypers are to be avoided at all costs to begin with.

This would allow you to:
Play more tournaments
Put in the same volume in less time

And it would allow Stars to run more tournies.

Even IF hyper zooms would allow you to play the same number of hands, I would still prefer them due to the fact that they would be quicker.
