Anyone know how to get into the 130K Christmas Freeroll tomorrow? I see 1800 registered now and the challenges said opt in to play tomorrow but it says I need Santa's ticket to get in. I never met Santa this year

Its only for those who make atleast 10 challenges during december.They remove tourneys but didnt mention this-another joke with the players...

Yea bit of a joke really. Logged on to check the christmas day promo and saw this rubbish. Some of the challenges were crap - no point in doing them unless you knew about this freeroll...

I like that the last tourney of the first two days were turbo (1 day event) for Europe. Its nice idea that all last torneys of the day of some series to be turbo. But that way some regions wont have +1 normal tourney at that time if they want to play it .So add turbo event and normal tourney at the same hour or with a little differnce like 1 hour at the end of the day.

If you think guarantees wont be met during christmas why not adding that money to the micros and low stakes mtts rather then throwing a 70k overlay at highstakes. And I mean adding it after registration has closed. It probably is better for the poker economy overall.

Agreed. I don't know why they constantly allow large overlays on high stakes. Why not sprinkle that to the low stakes? Put some huge guarantees for lower stakes, and if they overlay, at least the minnows can get some algae!

The Super Tuesday overlays every week, cut the guarantee to $100k and triple the guarantee on the mini. The big guys don't need any more breaks!

or add some cheap splash (<6$) satellites with at least 1seat gtd to the tuesday in the daily schedule.

the satty schedules for winter series are weird. turbo deep satties could continue much closer to the start time, and hyper 1r/1a + last chance hypers could be upto 1hr later than the start time of the mtt due to the structures being so good. add more mtt satties at the start of the satty schedule, and bump the whole satty package back 1hr!

and more 16man shootouts to all the events please!

Bit of a bug, losing my notes from teh final tables, really annoying because they"re notes on reg players that I see all the time, happened a few times.

Also not sure if it's a software issue on your end, but my PT4 HUD bugs out on FTs.

Are you closing stars properly? Whenever I forget to close it properly I lose my notes for that day and sometimes the settings/filters also revert back.

That is literally what is happening right now, except it is two weeks long.

It is important to remember that a vast majority of our players play one table. This means they probably don't take a long time to act and also that they do not want to wait a long time between hands. I understand your concerns about having a poor connection, but changing the parameters because of a very small group of players would likely result in more complaints than we currently receive. Lastly, we do not want to incentivize stalling.

I've passed your feedback on to the person responsible for live events satellites, but I should mention that it is fairly common for satellites to end deep into late registration. A couple simple tips for determining when a satellite will end:

1. Determine the average stack size required for the tournament to end. For instance, if a $55 to a $530 starts with 3,000 chips, the average stack will need to be 30,000 before the satellite ends.
2. Predict the level where the satellite will end. If the above is a hyper-turbo, I'd assume it would end at the 3,000 big blind level, or about 10 big blinds average. For a turbo, perhaps 15 big blinds, and a regular speed, 20-30.
3. Add any breaks and determine where the satellite will end in relation to the target tournament's structure.

Well, it isn't as though we intentionally overlayed $70K in this specific tournament; however, in the vein of Christmas giving, I did deploy an $11 satellite with 10 seats guaranteed to the Super Tuesday SE which overlayed $14.5K in the end!

Shootouts are an example of the scope of Winter Series being more limited. If participation in the Series isn't what we're expecting, these tournaments can cause both overlay (no different from a normal tournament) but also an underwhelming player experience. This first iteration of the Series will allow us to learn what we can do the next time around.

I've been doing some adjustments on the fly and will continue doing so. Mostly I've been adding tournaments during late registration, but please continue to provide feedback regarding where you think improvements can be made.

I'll try a few of these to today's Thrill.

Yeah I wanted to play the late hypers in the winter series (22:00) and I only had time from 13-18 to sat into the game. When I looked, there were only mtt sats available (somewhat starting 17:27 if I wanted to sat in the 22:00 game today) and no sngs.

satty schedule pushed back by 3 hours for todays $530 compared to yesterdays. seems a bit extreme, but ill be playing a few for the thrill too and will see how they fit with the starting times of the target mtts and give more feedback

Still waiting adding some more micro PSKO tourneys the times between 16;00-20;00 ET which will have for sure attention,theres no hyper-turbo 8 max in these times also 4.4 deepstack which u added still have very small guarantee and every day makes 2 times the guarantiee .I think i better to boost tourneys like this .And have question :i asked to add 1-2 red bounty builders like 8.8$,27$ or 5.5$ one hour after bb 16.50 but it was not answered so red bounty builders are harder to add to the schedule ? I see after midnight a lot of 4.4-22$ tourneys,why other people cannot have also in their playing time,i dont want big guarantees in the beggining only if they are succesfull .Happy holidays and i hope some more tourneys come and some real promotion about mtt or SNG.
