Hey all,
Getting near the end of WCOOP! Here's what's going on the rest of the week:
- So far, we've awarded 50x $5,200 WCOOP Main Event tickets in Stars Rewards chests, 36 players have won entry via Spin & Go, and 134 have won entry via our daily seat added satellite. All satellites to the $5,200 Main Event have been deployed. Good luck winning your seat!
- Tomorrow's $2,100 Heads-Up Event is capped at 128 entries. Be sure to register early if you want to guarantee yourself a seat.
- We'll be ramping up the satellite schedule for the $215 Main Event, but there will not be a massive satellite schedule for this Event. The focus is on the $5,200/$10M.

Nope, no VIP Bashes to the Main Event. Personally, I think the seat added satellite is much cooler anyways!

I'm the one sending these messages. The reason I'm sending them is simple: they work. Our highest stakes players typically use filters and have communications turned off. This means they'll miss games they want to play. For instance, many of them have satellites filtered out, but they're definitely interested in the $530 satellites we've been running to the $25K High Roller. I'll use them as infrequently as possible, but they're likely to be in play for the rest of the week.

Yes, except for the $25K High Roller and $5,200 Main Event. Satellites to those Events are restricted to players who haven't yet qualified.

If someone makes it until the end (or gets towards it) and has also played either the SE Warm-up or the earliest L for the day it leaves them 6-7 hours between one ends and the Day 2 of the other starts.
Obviously can't affect too many people, but thought it might be worth a look
There's no getting away from scheduling conflicts, but we do try to reduce their impact as much as possible. You're right that 47-L played for a long time on Day 1, but it was because the field size was expected to be massive. In the end, I think playing 8.5 hours on Day 1 was the right call.

This was my fault, apologies! Glad to see you turned your frustration into a victory, though. Congrats

Day 1s are unnecessarily too long and gruelling. I don't see why they need to be 9-11 hours long when Day 2 doesn't last anywhere near as long. Who the **** wants to grind 11 hours in a row?
Can you give specific examples? I've been reducing Day 1 length where possible. I haven't gotten to Thursday and beyond yet.
