Sunday Million H started 9pm and ended 9am local time. I think this is absurdly late. Earlier the days have ended around 7am latest if I'm not totally wrong. Those last 1-2 hours really make really the difference in the end and fks up sleeping rhythms horribly.

None of the sng sats are running but there are multiple mtt sats running as they require only 5 or 6 players to start.

[Edit: Another better example - https://imgur.com/vW2EEDg - there's one sng requiring 125 players to start - makes absolutely no sense]

More deep tourneys on sundays please (bring back "biggers"), ty

edit: regarding sats, I like the 6-handed sats with 2 guaranteed seats, but can we also have 9-handed tables with maybe 4 seats gtd?

4x $109 tournament tickets
buy-in is $49
9 handed 1 table turbo

1-4 win tickets
$x for 5th (whatever is left after 4 tickets)
6-9th nothing

Idk, maybe have some of these as rebuy for 2 mins, that could be fun

Also, I really don't like how sng sats are always configured during coops. There are so many sng sats with similar buy ins like $0.90, $1.20, $1.30 which is not necessary imo. Would always prefer to see fewer sng sats on the tourney lobby.

Not really, I skipped when I saw the day 1 length and considering skipping this 55$ as well... something must've gone wrong here, I'm pretty sure Luke was in favor of shortening day 1s, not lengthening them.

Oh my bad I thought we were talking about the 1k$/55$ milly. Seems todays 55$ ends after 35 levels (9 hrs + breaks, 10-10.5 hours) and then day 2 will be a lot shorter.

Hey everyone,

A few updates:
  • Tonight we'll run a $530 satellite to the $25K High Roller on September 21st. It will start one hour after the Half Price Super Tuesday begins and will have two seats guaranteed.
  • Don't forget, there's still a daily $55 satellite at 14:00 ET with an added $5,200 entry! It has been averaging over $10 of added value per player.
  • I'm still in the process of updating tournaments using the incorrect 8-max pay tables. Don't fret if you see it, they'll all be squashed within the next week or so.
  • Satellites to the Main Event Low will begin soon. Apologies for getting these up a bit late! The offering will start small and will expand based on demand.

This was a mistake. We changed the structure before launch while neglecting to update the number of levels played during Day 1. We've started adjusting future Events, starting with 06-H, to end Day 1 90 minutes sooner.

I've passed the Sit & Go specific feedback on to our Sit & Go Manager, thanks.

I'm going to try to get some in for next week, though I can't make any promises. Also, as a precaution, I should mention that I wouldn't be inflating guarantees for WCOOP only, but instead would be increasing them to levels sustainable after the Series concludes.

There's a little bit of learning that comes with using all new structures. In the case of the $55, Day 2 will still last a significant amount of time considering there's over 100 players remaining. We're happy to make some changes, but sometimes fields with 5K+ players just need to play for a long time on Day 1.

I know, it's a huge field, but there's 186M chips in play so you can realistically expect it to end between 300/600k - 0.8/1.6M, meaning day 2 will have between 14-20 levels where day 1 had 35. Of course with 27 left the levels will be 5 mins longer, but still, this could be divvied up more nicely between day 1 and 2. Also not sure how others feel about this, but I'm happier to play at 5am when I'm playing for 50k than when I'm playing to make it to day 2 with no significant payouts. With the 1k it was kind of necessary as day 2 lasted until 6am as well, but the 55 is a lot faster (even though it's 3.5x the field size, the level times dictate run length much more).

On a related note, I think the structures are nearly flawless but the 70/140 and 175/350 levels are a bit much and are much less important than their 700/1400 and 7k/14k etc counterparts. If those lead to 10 hour day 1s then that's not worth it imo. Though maybe that's a byproduct of the current online mtt meta of allowing infinite late reg.

+1 this !

No problem if day 2 is longer, as it will affect fewer players - who will also be awarded more money, which will make it worth the effort.

So, please make shorter day 1's for evening tournaments. For euro players, this means it shouldn't go beyond 5-6AM CET. I wouldn't have a problem if the Sunday Kick-off day 1 would last longer, as people will be playing the WU / SM anyway, so that could be a candidate for a longer day 1. Although this might screw people from Asia / Australia, I guess.

Hi guys, I see the discussion about WCOOP tournaments length and I'd like to jump in with a more general question... I hope this is the right thread.

I just moved to a country where I can play PokerStarsEU, while I used to play on PokerStars.IT beforehand. I am a recreational (though I used to be quite serious about the game) and I am looking for MTTs that would allow me to start around 9pm CET (late reg is fine) and finish around 4am the latest.
This was perfectly possible in the Italian market because of the restricted players pool but it seems to me that MTTs are overwhelmingly long on EU! Is that right?

Any other fellow out there with similar time constraints that has found an appropriate MTT schedule for him?

Thank you!

Well you got your big $11 that starts 20:00 CET (late-reg until 22:20), the big $22 at 19:00 (with late-reg until 21:20) and big $55 at 21:00 (late-reg until 23:20), they all finish around between 03:30-05~ ish

Then there's tons of turbos, small-field deepstacks and sattelites around these hours as well, it's kind of the happy hour of evening poker

Well they did write in description "Did you miss out on WCOOP-12-H? Take out your aggression on your opponents in this $5,200 buy-in single day tournament!"

with 20 min blind levels, 50k starting stack and 20:00 CET starting time, this will probably be a 15+ hour tournament

Yeah, somehow I don't think so.

Only day 4 of WCOOP and somebodies brain in Pokerstars already melted so bad; they tried this.

A random extra COOP event and you butchered it so hard. It doesn't even run. Thats a different kind of special

Any reason why bounties don't show on final table replays - both WCOOP and non-WCOOP ones?

They used to show before and not having them just makes the whole replay almost pointless, considering how big of a part those take in the decision making process
